Positive: Beautiful room in a welcoming family run hotel in an attractive small town. Safe parking included. The couple who run the hotel are friendly, lovely and professional. Dinner was possible and was excellent (particularly as the chef accommodated my quite restrictive dietary needs) with in-season ingredients freshly cooked. Nice modest size swimming pool with good facilities to hand. Very good breakfast included made this a great value stay. We relaxed completely and would have liked to spend longer there. Definitely hope to return.
Negative: There wasn't anything I didn't like! For information of potential older guests: our room was up three flights of stairs but we managed it fine and there are rooms on other floors which you could request. The hosts were very helpful with luggage.
Summary: Perfect overnight stop with welcoming hosts after long day's driving.
