Positive: Staff was helpful. Fishing was good.

Negative: Hot, noisy, and Smoky. The hotel borders one of the main roads in Punta Allen. ATVs and motorcycles race down the road from morning til night. Dogs bark a LOT, day and night. Since there is NO air conditioning, the room is noisy and very HOT.... And there is a LOT of burning going on, so smoke is frequently a problem. Also, be aware that food is more expensive here than in other small Mexican towns...and it's not as good. Also, be aware that the electricity is off for much of the day, so there are NO FANS during these outages.
