Positive: The historic home (nice to have that included in the guest info!), beautiful integration of the modern convenience and comfort with the character of the wood and architecture. Beautiful garden for playing with the croquet set.
Negative: It would be wonderful to have a bit more of a “quick-start” guide to using the Rayburn, would love a broom and dust pan or cordless vacuum to be able to clean up crumbs and dirt that got tracked in, and it would be lovely to have at least a few spare linens for bedding to be able to swap out if needed. including basic items: a small bottle of olive oil and vinegar for cooking or salads, a bit of sugar for coffee/tea, would be shelf stable and extremely helpful to have beyond the candy and Prosecco—which were kind indulgences!
Summary: Lovely home and beautiful property in a quiet and peaceful village. Great pub across the street!
