Positive: The price for a suite room is cheap, but still with a catch The hotel itself is fine, but the management is not very prompt, although I wouldn’t necessarily say it is bad

Negative: The English ability of most of the staff is quite limited, which made communication difficult. More concerning was the payment issue. The hotel debited my credit card for one night (CNY 777) three days before my arrival without informing me by email, and it was never mentioned during check-in or check-out. I only discovered this after checking my credit card transactions. When I tried to resolve the issue by calling the hotel, they repeatedly asked me to contact Booking.com. However, my booking condition with Booking.com was “Pay at the hotel,” and Booking.com did not charge me anything. The hotel charged my card without Booking.com’s involvement. Only after I became quite frustrated did they say they would investigate the matter. Eventually, I had to ask a Chinese friend to help communicate with them. At the time of writing, the hotel has acknowledged the debit and promised to refund it as soon as possible, but I have not yet received the credit on my credit card.
