Positive: Clean, private home. Well equipped with supplies that you need. Large, plenty of space & beds for a large family. Beds very comfortable. Close location to Cripple Creek & near shopping for food & supplies (Woodland Park). Colorado Springs was close enough (24 miles) to enjoy several activities & still be able to enjoy the woods & outdoors. Pikes Peak view was amazing. Saw several deer & elk each day on the drive around the cabin. Good WiFi & internet connection no cell phone connectivity issues.
Negative: Lighting in bedrooms was too dark (only lamps, no overhead lights). Cooking supplies were old and not a large variety. Washer/dryer is old & outdated, but it did do the job. Only level entry (without steps) was through the basement, then you had steep stairs to go up to get to the main level (no way someone in a wheelchair or poor mobility could enjoy). Only 1 TV in the home.
