Summary: We really couldn't fault the villa and surrounding area. Plan de la Tour is a charming village with plenty of bars and restaurants and a couple of smaller supermarkets, and a market on Thursday morning. St Maxime, Grimaud and Pt Grimaud are all within a 10-15 min drive and St Tropez a little further. There's a vineyard with free tasting just a 10 min walk in to town. Aqualand water park was 10 mins drive with a large supermarket opposite. The villa itself is stunning with a very private terrace and pool area. The outdoor kitchen and dining room was really good as we could watch the kids in the pool while enjoying a glass of wine in the shade. There was also an outdoor lounge area with lovely coloured mood lighting for the warm balmy evenings. The interior is spotless, contemporary and all air conditioned. There are automatic blinds on all the main windows - great for keeping the light out in the mornings. We enjoyed a few games of French boules / pétanque in the pitch round the back of the house. Unfortunately we couldn't use the BBQ are the risk of forest fire was too high but it didn't spoil things at all. All in all a fantastic holiday destination.
