Positive: What an incredible place, run by a wonderful family! We had a fantastic four night stay at Quinta das Alframbas. To begin with Vera notified us we could check in early, which was fantastic for us as our flight arrived early in the day. On arrival we were shown around and left to relax in our accommodation. We were then provided a delicious charcuterie board which was just what we needed after a long travel. The accommodation is spacious, modern, clean and well equipped, the pool and surrounding sun lounges a perfect place to soak up the sun and cool off in the pool. The breakfasts!! 7 different choices, with delicious fresh local fruits and cheeses, incredible cakes baked by Vera’s mum. I am coeliac, and was so moved by the efforts of Vera and Mum to accommodate my dietary needs. Receiving a whole loaf of gluten free bread and cakes every day just for me- very kind indeed. We had leftovers from breakfasts to use for lunches and afternoon treats when returning from a day exploring. If we had any questions or needed support Vera was always available, either in person, or via WhatsApp. The recommendations of beaches, restaurants, and places to visit were well received and much appreciated. A lovely place, and we can’t wait to stay again when we next visit Portugal!
