Positive: Well, I was in tears leaving this wonderful place- a little slice of paradise. It’s so sweet, with sunrise in the morning, and beautiful sunsets out the back. Footpaths out the front, great pubs within a 10-15 minute drive. The food at the Peacock Inn in Chelsworth is high restaurant quality. Martin and Angela were as good a hosts as you could wish for. I stayed a month, and loved it. I could have stayed longer.

Negative: Atrocious directions from Sykes Properties to find the property which has now been sorted. Confusingly, Rector’s retreat has nothing to do with either the Old Rectory or the Rectory but is next to the Old Convent.
