Summary: Perfection. The cabin on Spanish Creek was a true treasure. Just off the highway, sitting above the creek in the sugar pines. The design of home allowed for creek sounds and views 24/7. Nature provided privacy from the two neighbors who were far away enough to feel the entire creek and Plumas forest was ours. Just a few minutes of sitting silent by the water gave us views of ducks, otters, osprey and many other special wildlife species. A little walk down the road lead to the Pacific Crest Trail and hiking trails galore. The house itself was comfortable, clean, modern, allowing for everything we could need. Our beds were so comfortable. A covered porch overlooking creek for grilled dinner. Porch chairs for morning coffee. Cards, games and great books about the area. The worst part about the rental was the feeling of sadness for having to leave.
