Summary: We stayed in the family cabin ensuite, which offers beautiful mountain views from the balcony and reminded us of a treehouse. The surrounding nature is stunning, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Tatiana prepared our breakfast and was very attentive and helpful.
However, our stay also had several drawbacks. There were power outages on both days: for eight hours on the first day and from 8:30 p.m. until the following morning on the second day. Without electricity, we couldn’t use the fans, so the room became very hot and it was difficult to sleep. No candles or flashlights were offered, even after we asked for them. The lack of electricity was also a safety concern and made it difficult to charge our devices.
Breakfast is simple, consisting of coffee, eggs and toast, and there is no lunch or dinner service. Communication via WhatsApp and the booking platform was slow after check-in. It is a beautiful place, but it seems to need better management and a backup power system much like the surrounding hotels in the area which continued to have power despite the outage.

Summary: This place was so beautiful! The respect shown to the mountain, the land and the indigenous communities in it's construction is evident everywhere you turn. And seriously, sitting having coffee and watching the tucans is hard to beat!

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay at this clean and cosy ecolodge in Minca. A friendly welcome, and an interesting story behind these beautifully designed jungle cabins surrounded by lush nature. Such a relaxing and amazing experience. The walking trail to the centre of Minca was fun too! :)
