Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Excellent location and value for money for the area. For a long weekend where you aren't planning on being inside the room much and just need somewhere to sleep, it's perfect. It's very quiet with no street noise at night and feels safe and secure. The major sights are mostly walking distance through nice streets and the area, Saint-Germain des Pres, is the best area to stay in Paris, as well as being close to the Latin Quarter and Sorbonne. Many excellent boulangerie, bars and bistros nearby too. You probably won't get a better location for the price without a significant decline in quality of accommodation. We didn't use the small kitchen facility at all as we really just slept, showered and changed there and spent all day out in Paris to make the most of it. However, it seemed to be completely equipped and had most things if you were to use it for a meal in to save cost.

Negative: The bathroom was a bit dirty unfortunately. There were small amounts of black mould growing in the grout and sealant. There was also a reasonable amount of someone else's hair stuck to the tiled walls. The cleanliness of the rest of the studio was perfectly fine though.

Summary: Best location for the best value, perfect for being out in Paris all day but bathroom a bit dirty
