Summary: PRO'S:The huge pool and beach were wonderful. The property grounds are beautiful and we had the whole pool practically to ourselves Pictures of the beach are not up to date - the majority of the beach has eroded and is no longer there - no fault to the ownerCONS:* We made our booking in AUGUST for 5 nights (and paid the full amount due). 2 weeks prior to our trip (DEC), when it was too late to cancel and get a partial refund, the OWNER DEMANDED that we stay for 8 nights! We told him we had prior obligations and could not extend our stay, but he SENT US A FEE for an additional 3 nights. We didn't want to loose money, so we stayed for the initial booking and had friends take the additional 3 nights. * Upon arrival, 3 ladies were cleaning an extremely dirty apartment which seems to have been vacant for a long time - repairs and paint needed* The balcony was under construction-dry cement and paint were everywhere. Most of the screens were ripped, letting in tons of bugs and mosquitos. There were no towels in the bathrooms and 1 mosquito net for 4 different beds. The kitchen utensils were all very dirty and the oven was broken* towels and mosquito nets arrived our second day - after us asking(again)*Had a worker fix some things during our stay - security?Once we got towels and nets, it was a much better stay. Wish we could give it an excellent review...but constant contact during our holiday doesn't make things relaxing. Hopefully in time this will be a 5 star?
