Positive: The 2 rooms were exceptionally well furnished and comfortable, breakfast and evening meals were very good, service in the restaurant was superb.
Negative: We made this booking as it was advertised to include wi-fi. Rooms 1 and 6 had no wi-fi at all, the wi-fi in the bar/restaurant was really weak and mostly unusable. Made worse by the fact that the mobile signal in the area was also so weak it was unusable - no fault of the accommodation of course. The service we received in the restaurant was so good that we were disappointed by the attitude of one of the ladies in the bar towards us, who was quite abrupt. The other bar staff were fine and helpful. I wasn't very happy that the restaurant bill includes a service charge. I was given the option to remove it, we were very happy to give a tip for the excellent service we received but I like to decide whether a tip is justified, and how much.
