Summary: We booked three rooms and stayed two nights to attend a funeral in Bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening meal were good. Cleaning staff were helpful and friendly. One of the three rooms was a bit quirky with a sloping floor and a weird shower attachment in the bath but it's an old building and full of character. The main thing was, although old, the rooms were clean and functional and pleasant enough. We all slept well and had a good breakfast both mornings. The staff were accommodating, letting us use a room at the rear after the bar closed and putting an extra pot of coffee on for us after breakfast, as we had to hang around after checking out time on the last day. I would definitely stay here again.
