Positive: It’s a really well situated cottage, walks start literally outside the door. Doris the owner baked us a cake. Everything is there to cook and relax, good beds as well. Surrounding area: there’s a nice pub with good dinner options (Keld Lodge) and a tearoom in Muker which is worth the visit or walk. Hawes is close for shops (Elijah’s or Spar)

Negative: We had a couple of lovely sunny days and then we missed a garden to sit in after a day of walking but we knew that when we booked.
