Positive: I loved that they had bikes available, and I spent several days exploring the area on them. Just note that a few had brakes that didn’t work as well as they should, so choose carefully. The staff were very friendly, though they didn’t speak English — totally fine, as Google Translate worked perfectly and everyone was lovely. There are great cafés and restaurants within walking distance, and the neighbourhood itself is a peaceful, residential area that feels very calm and relaxing.
Negative: The buffet breakfast was good; however, on quieter days the hotel switches to an à la carte menu with only four options, none of which include fruit. The staff were very accommodating — they substituted items for me (for example, swapping French fries for extra vegetables) — but I would have preferred healthier breakfast choices. On those à la carte days, the restaurant also shuts the main coffee machine and serves coffee from a different machine, and unfortunately the quality is very poor. Whatever blend they use should really be reconsidered. The fitness centre is very poorly equipped. It only has a treadmill and a bike, and the bike didn’t work. There is space for a small weight rack, which would make a big difference. Wi-Fi was unreliable.
