Summary: Large comfortable bed and the hotel had pleasing decor. The Bar and restaurant facilities are my reason for the liw score . Bar and restaurant were disappointing. Barman did not appear have any ice . Worst Margarita cocktail I have ever had. It was warm and barman explained the bar did not have any llimes or lemons. At breakfast on second morning we were told teabags and butter were finished. Waiter told us there would be butter ‘ tomorrow’ . Dinner was a set menu of two choices and no choice at all for dessert. There is a pizzeria nearby but apart from that no choice but to use the hotel restaurant or take a taxi into town. Lady at check in was friendly but apart from that staff appeared disinterested. At breakfast on the first morning the waiter moved us from the table we had chosen and bluntly told us to sit with a group of Americans. He assumed we were part of the group. Easy to mistake to make ...if we were American . On check out the receptionist answered the phone while she was checking us out and didn’t even look up when she said ‘bye’ . We did not use the spa facilities having booked the hotel as a comfortable base for sight seeing however it seemed like an extensive choice of treatments were on offer.
