Positive: Our one-night stay at Wild Cabin Panoramic Mărișel was nothing short of stunning! While it’s a bit of a drive to get up there, the serene, peaceful atmosphere and gorgeous location make it entirely worth it. Warm Hospitality & Sweet Companions We were greeted by the hosts, Attila and Oana, who were wonderfully friendly and easygoing. A highlight of our stay was being welcomed by the two resident guard dogs—they are the sweetest, friendliest companions! Trained and not overwhelming at all, they added a wonderful sense of safety and entertainment (a huge plus if you’re a dog lover). Comfortable, Well-Equipped Interior The cabana was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. * Kitchen: Fully equipped with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, utensils, pots, pans, glasses, cups, a fridge, a microwave, and a tabletop stove. * Living & Sleeping: The living room is cozy with plenty of space. Both the downstairs and upstairs bedrooms were neatly arranged with super comfy beds, and both the living area and lower bedroom feature TVs. * Comfort & Amenities: Excellent Wi-Fi and a well-insulated structure with a mini-split system (AC/heater) kept us comfortable. The full-size, clean bathroom even had a fun infinity mirror! Stunning Outdoor Space The outdoor area is incredible, featuring a front porch, a hot tub, and a covered open-concept lounge next to the cabin. Sitting on the macrame swings with a gorgeous view of the sunrise was unforgettable. We were super satisfied with our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer!
Negative: ​While these minor details certainly didn't ruin our stay, a few thoughtful tweaks could make the experience absolute perfection: ​Loft Stairs: The stairs leading up to the loft bedroom felt a bit flimsy and slightly unsafe at times. While structurally stable, improving their sturdiness would be a huge plus. If you have any mobility challenges, we'd recommend sticking to the downstairs bedroom for ease. ​Loft Lighting & Safety: The upstairs room relies on a single overhead white light, which felt a bit harsh for the space and slightly flickered/stayed dim when turned off. Cozy salt lamps - just like the cute ones in the downstairs bedroom, would be a wonderful addition to replace the mood light. There were candles by the bed, but we avoided using them given the wooden cabin setting. ​Housekeeping Touches: A few glassware items weren't thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival (an easy fix, as dish soap was available at the sink) and the shower gel was tucked behind the toilet rather than in the shower area. ​Overall, these are just small suggestions for the future, the cabin itself remains a fantastic retreat!
