Positive: This place is right on the beach- you walk out the door past the pool and another few feet is the beach and ocean. Quiet, clean and private. The kitchen was well stocked, only missing an ice maker in the freezer, plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. Use of two sea kayaks of paddle boards available for use. Also there are outside showers for use on either side of the building. A few pool floats were available for use; not sure if they were left by previous folks or provided by condo.
Negative: The pictures were off the wall, they need proper hangers, it could definitely use some cosmetic repairs, especially the paint. The sliding door to the pool is extremely heavy and difficult to open…and I mean difficult. If you have shoulder problems or aren’t strong you might have problems. There are also pool deck repairs, or at least they started. Never saw anyone working there. Old rotted wood in places also raised nails- watch where you step. The gate leading to the beach was very loose and seems like where it attached to the decking was rotted out. All but two of the ten beach chairs provided were damaged or broken making them useless. Also when we were there the overgrown coconut trees were dangerous. They were dropping old coconuts and posed a hazard if sitting near them or walking nearby them-beware. The tree trimmers came once while we were there and worked on the front. Maybe they planned on getting to the back, but not before we left.
